2F Authentication without Phone Numbers

2FA in itself is quite usefull for preventing middle man attacks

problem is the requirement to provide your phone nr
Big tech is unscrupulouis about this , f.i. FB sold your phone numbers to third parties
matching phone number with real name == no more psuedo anonymity on the inet

create a pseudo anonymous account

google soft / services can be used in this scenario IF
- a temporraly phone number is used
- an old phone (flip phone or blackberry ) is used
- 1 time activation and usage of a new sim
this number will not be actually used , it is a one time use to get a working 2FA

1 set up a gmail account
- do not use your real name
- no entry of phone nummber , no verification mail , no gender
- only a birthdate , but use a fake one

2 create a google voice account
next step will ask for a google voice number , use the temporally one

  1. then click verify => verfication code per sms , this is the only usage of this sim ever

  2. ==install google voice on the destination phone==

  3. delete in google online account the voice account = unlink the phone number ,
    thus only email is only active

but one can still call to the number and that call will be directed to the google voice
and an email will be sent to the gmail account

that email can be used
