PIA geeft enorme kortingen bij een nieuw account
(een sales techniek om klanten “te strikken”)
vb 2023 : 3 jaar duurtijd betaling => + 3 extra maanden
70 € ipv. 456 € => dat is 1,79 per maand ipv 11,7 €

wat je kan doen :
hernieuw je account niet maar “unsubscribe”
laat jeen aantal maand overheen gaan , neem een trial of een aanbieding ergens anders voor 3 maand

wel nazien of PIA niet nagaat of je al gebruikt hebt.
Ik vermoed dat dit automatische checks betreffen ( is ward.malesys@disroot.org = ward.malesys@telenet.be bv? )
op zaken zoals betaalmethode (CC, paypal account werd reeds gebruikt) , email (tip alias gebruiken) , e.d

usage

• It cannot be used together with another vpn service ( quite logically)
• better to install in on the router
  reasons to install it on the router :
  - there is an issue when used on laptop : the vpn connection get lost when laptop get suspended
  PIA reconnects on laptop resume, but there is a small gap there is a “no-vpn” internet connection
  - all phones and other devices are also convered automaticaly.
