Motivation for your Microsoft SQL Server DBA Expert job offer. (Ref: 2642DBAEX)

In response to our enjoyable conversation last week, I would like to state my motivation for my candidacy.

In consequence of a transformation project -from mainframe towards the Windows platform-
IG is looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA to help realize this migration on the database level.
I understand the tasks :
- to be reponsible for anything related to the daily administration
- tesing, validating, correcting and performance improving of datbase migration delivaries
- be the expert everthing MS SQL related.

In this regard, I can offer :

• Excellent MS SQL Server experience, & skills ; out of 28 years in IT, 15 were with a strong to exclusive focus on MS SQL.
  Tasks were in operational managment, desiging & development, performance tuning, architecture, release management, which gave ms a broad, multi-dimentional perspective.

• Many years of work experience in teams that had a strong focus on project work , buidling IT solutions and IT transformations (Axa Bank, Getronics, SD Worx, Transics, etc)
  where amongst others, I managed many data transformation & database migration projects.

• Many years of consumtancy work , where a major task was fixing and perfomance tuning of ms sql relational databases

• Strong development skills in vb.net, expert knowledge of T-SQL, good experience in scripting such as PoweShell.

• I also have a solid operational knowledge on the other solutions in the MS SQL Server stack, such as SSAS (BI), SSRS (reporting), SSIS( ETL).

• I have coached and trained several junior dba
