The vivaldi files are located :
linux: /home/
win: C:WindowsUsers
- close or kill vivaldi
- rename the default ( default user profile data ) folder :
mv Default Default.bak - restart vivaldi : will recreate the default folder
- you can then copy back elements (such as all bookmarks ) from
Default.bak to Default

Since Vivaldi updated to version 1.15.1147.36 I have been experiencing
Lag & freezes on a variety of pages that have a lot of content, I have
tried the same pages in Chromium without issues, both browsers have
exactly the same addons, it’s as if the page freezes until it has fully
rendered everything.
