need for a small calendar tool, in applet form, that lets you :
quickly drop down an event calendar
to glance at what’s on the agenda.
to quickly add an event to the calendar without loading in a full-blown application like Evolution or Thunderbird/Lightning.

Don’t default to an all-day event.
Don’t default to no sound for a reminder. Add 0 minutes to the reminder . . .
It would be nice if the reminder popped up and a sound activated, if you set a reminder with sound.
