AWS does not accept Paypal or Belgian debit cards

I’m trying to create a AWS account, my payment choice is not accepted.

In your documentation ” What payment methods does AWS accept?” it is stated :
” … Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (AWS Europe) … Credit and debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.”

I have a debit card issued by Maestro (i.e. a Mastercard debit card)
with card number 6703 9734 3396 8800 2 (=67039734339688002 online).

AWS does not accept this card : “unsupported card type”.
This card has been accepted and validated before with PayPal.com, Bol.com, CoolBlue.com and others.
I do not have a credit card, and AWS does not accept PayPal.

What can be done?
