install on linux laptop
- download de pia installer : https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/installer/x/download_installer_linux
- run installer with :
sh pia-linux-2.2.2-05198.run - ==do not run the installer with sudo !==
- the installer will ask for your root password

the installer will detect if it has been already installed , and replace the old, ?keeping the config?
you can therfore always re-install or update this way -
once the installation completes, it will start the main PIA GUI
- enter here your PIA username and password.
( you can also login with email , but do use the username )

i use the wireguard protocol
