• do not use color for bold etc (may be theme depend)
• do use color for headers (idem)
• ** bold ** should be treated the same as bold ?

possibilty to indent a formatted image

header formatting stops after the use of a “<” + char

presumably it considers this to be an (incorrect) html tag , but that doesn’t matter
tested with 3 different themes , all have the same behaviour, it does not seem to be a theme issue
Of cousre I could continu with the {F8} style , but that is inconventient :
harder to type , also < F8> is a decennia old convention
workaround < F8> does not cause this
