==”two birds”== ( built in thunderbird ) disabled since 102.2.2 is menu (dark gray on bleck) hard to work with
new layout for tree & menu 102.2.2 is very nice , but a bit émage” for list & mail panes
“sea beach” ; nah not really

other config

see how many messages (read and unread) per folder :
menu > View > Layout : enable “Folder Pane Columns” > choose total emails as the column
adds an extra right-alligned column at the end of the folder pane
but I would rather see an option to have total included together with the unread count, possibly as an preference option,
now : Inbox (9) => request : Inbox (9/213)
this way, it t would reduce the space eaten up by yhe folder pane

display dates

didn’t not work 100%

sorting options of mail lists

=> advanced config editor
- Sort by Date : mailnews.default_sort_type – value : 18
- Change from Ascending to Descending : mailnews.default_sort_order 1 (ascending) 2 (descending)
- Enable Threaded View : mailnews.default_view_flags 0 (unthreaded) 1 (threaded). to expand all messages by default, add the decimal value 32 to the previous value.
You can find the documentation of all this internal flags and value at the Mozilla Knowledge Base website.
save the settings and restart Thunderbird.

compose a new mail

deactivate the “When using paragraph format” option in the advanced options
the default paragraph format changes from “Paragraph” to “Body Text”

default font : kies : ==Tahoma== dit schaalt enigzins beter
vergroten / verkleinen font gebruikt de zeer irritante html manier ; groter en kleiner relatief
je hebt weinig vat op hoe groot het nu juist zal waorden (vaak ofwel té groot of té klein met sclechts 1 keer klikken ! )
